Pubs in the U.K.

Posted by Esther on 8:19
Throughour this unit, "A Question of Taste", we have dealt with quantifiers, possible communicative situations related to food and measures. We have also talked about the sociological aspect of this topic, namely, international food and manners, cutlery, English pubs, etc.
Pubs are where many British people meet to talk and have a drink. This page explains pub vocabulary and customs.Do you remember the Jclic activity related to pubs in the UK? I´m sure you do, you had a great time working with it.
Now, surf the net and find, at least, three pictures of English food, food manners, pubs, measures or similar and upload it to our Picasa account. Write a caption for each of them and provide the website where you found it, that is the source. Make sure you put your name and surname for me to assess them.
Thanks!
